This is not my original opinion but i agree with Most points made in the opinion also it is a long one so get your tea. here is the exact opinion from reddit and it reads:, Might get a lot of hate for this but its just what I think. In the recent events, a lot of people have been shitting on dispatch but IMO they are just doing their jobs as paparazzi. Paparazzi culture is embedded in every entertainment industry around the world. Harsh truth is that they are the ones who play a very big role in keeping most celebrities ‘relevant’ by posting news about them. I don’t remember but a celebrity once said “that he doesn’t mind when there are paparazzi and photographers outside a restaurant he is dining at or the airport waiting for him. He would be more concerned if they weren’t because than it would mean his fame is going down” Its just the paparazzi’s job to dig dirt on celebrities. If it hadn’t been for them, would scandals like the burning sun and molka chat rooms come out? Another thing people love to hate on Dispatch is for releasing celebrity couples. The fans that hate on them are the same people that then go on twitter, reddit and Instagram and trend this couples and discuss the heck out of them. Its us as fans that creates all these demands for dispatch and other news outlets to actually go and search for juicy gossip like this. So if you really do not want celebrity couples to get exposed, don’t trend them or even talk about them. You cannot have it both ways. Create a big issue for your favs being exposed and then analyse their relationships for days after the reveal. As much as fans hate it, companies and idols rely on companies like dispatch and other journalists for keeping their artists constantly in the news. It seems rather hypocritical on part of fans to say shit about them and then enjoy the news they receive from dispatch. If you really hate paparazzi/dispatch culture so much why don’t you talk about it in all entertainment industries? Just shitting on dispatch proves you only want to shield your Kpop faves against being exposed for their shit while you don’t give a damn about celebrities’s privacy in general. I have absolutely no issue accepting that I don’t mind Dispatch and other news outlets exposing people. Its on fans to not go on a witch hunt for their fave’s significant other and be a mature. The news outlets is just doing what it is supposed to do and that is report news and gossip.
