Upon activating Kobun Sakazuki子分盃 Followers Sake Cups, a colossal sake cup materializes beneath Yūgure and her opponent, its vast, lacquered surface extending beyond the battlefield. The cup is filled with a shallow layer of shimmering, golden liquid, which barely reaches their ankles at first, swirling lazily as if alive. As the battle begins, the true nature of her Bankai slowly reveals itself. Every second that passes, with every exertion of Reiryoku causes the liquid inside the cup to rise, distilling the spiritual energy of both combatants into the everdeepening sake. The more one exerts their reiatsu the faster their reiryoku is sapped and distilled into sake, causing the liquid to climb higher, making movement sluggish and unstable. The more powerful the opponent, the stronger the effects of her bankai will be upon them. The intoxicating influence of the sake becomes overwhelming, making it increasingly difficult to maintain control. Balance becomes nonexistent, perception warped, and reflexes dull as if drowning in a dreamlike haze of euphoria and confusion. A subtle, feverish heat seeps into their skin, keeping them perpetually uncomfortable, distracted, and vulnerable. And the more one exerts their Reiryoku, the faster it is depleted, hastening their descent into helpless intoxication. Yūgure alone can drink from the cup. Each sip replenishes her strength, restoring her stamina and spiritual energy while leaving her opponent further weakened. In addition Yūgure appears to become inebriated herself to a degree, her movements become more erratic and unpredictable, while her reiatsu seems to switch irregularly like the mood swing of a drunkard. Despite this, for all intents and purposes, she appears to be a functional drunk. Should her opponent, in desperation, attempt to drink the sake, the effects of intoxication only deepen, warping their perception further—as if they are gazing upon Yūgure through the dazed lens of drunken infatuation. Some fighters become hesitant to strike her, their dulled instincts mistaking awe for desire, while others fall into complete disarray, unable to distinguish reality from illusion. As the battle rages, the sake continues to rise, and once it reaches her opponent’s waist, Yūgure executes the final act—“Overflowing Cup.” Lifting her hand as if holding a Sake cup she turns the “cup” over , the sake erupts violently, submerging the opponent in a crushing surge of distilled Reiryoku before collapsing upon itself, robbing them of their remaining energy and leaving them defenseless.
