I’m a developer and have been interested in electric transportation for quite a while. I started with a pretty powerful electric scooter. I’ve always liked bicycles, but I didn’t like the seating position on regular bikes. There are some classic issues—chafing in certain areas, back pain, and strained arms, especially on long rides. So, I was at the gym using a recumbent exercise bike where you pedal forward, and I thought, "Why can’t I ride a regular bike like this?" I started searching online to see if such bikes existed, and it turned out they do! I began exploring different models—trikes, recumbents of various shapes and designs—and stumbled upon Flevo. It caught my attention because of its simple design and some elegance in the solution.
