November 9, 2023. November 9, 2023. November 9, 2023. part 3. I get out and go inside into this part. I walk up too this dude sitting down. Black guy like me, but with dreads. I removed the paper towel and he said, “oh shit”. I knew I was in the wrong part right there and then. Doctors and nurses don’t get shocked like that. He was shocked. He tells me where to go and I tried listening as best I could so I could give the directions to lil bro. I head outside and couldn’t spot the car. This whole shit was such a pain in the ass !!! I’m like, “where the fuck did he park !!!” And also said, “of course”. Lil bro walks up and asks what’s going on. I told him that the place is around the building. We went back too the car and he drives around as I’m directing him where to go. I head inside when we arrived and walked by this lady who was through this glass, on the other side of the wall. I showed her my cut and knew I was in the right spot when she didn’t have a reaction too my cut. She didn’t even flinch !! She had me sit down and give her some personal information so she could type it into the computer. She ends up giving me this thing on my wrist too wear. She had me sit down in one of the many chairs in this section. Lil bro was inside, sitting down, and I sat next too him. The lady asked if he’s with me and he said yeah. He ended up going over and getting a visitors wrist band. Another nurse walks up and calls my name. I had her pronounce my name right as she pronounced it wrong. She takes me into a room and asks me questions about how I got cut and stuff. She put something over my forehead and took the paper towel. She mentions a tetanus shot or something like that to prevent infection from dirt. She mentioned the jaw locking up or something like that. She asks me if I want my friend too come with me and she ain’t know he’s my brother. I told her nah. We headed out and into this hallway section of the place and she has me sit down in one of the seats. A bit later, a guy comes up and says it looks like glue would do the job. What ?!! Man I don’t do that new shit. So I asked if he could just stitch it. Stitches have always worked. I don’t trust new methods like that. He said sure and asked me some questions and stuff. Then he asked if I wanted it glued or stitched. I asked what the benefits of glue was. He said that theoretically, glue makes it less likely too scar. I don’t like theories, I like facts !!! So I said stitched. I stick to what I, and other people know. Guy left and another medical lady came over to ask me some questions. I answered some and as we were talking, dude comes back, tells me to follow him and tells her she could follow as well. She doesn’t follow and he leads me too this room too lay down on this bed type thing. The lady there said she’ll give me a shot and says it’ll be worth it rather than the potential alternative. The guy gives me a few needle shots inside the cut to numb the pain and then stitches me up and stuff. I asked the lady how deep the needle was and she says it’s a flesh shot. She gives me the shot and I didn’t feel much at all. The guy tells me that the stitches are thin, so too be careful. He said too not rub the stitches, but too just tap it. Well, tap them. He says too wait 5 days to come back and get them taken out. He said I could either come back there or too urgent care. That if I come back to where I was, too come at like 7 a m. I was not coming back at no 7 a m !!
