I will bring a dedication to providing excellent surgical care, supported by a strong clinical background gained during my three-year residency in Ukraine and my intern year at Brigham. I will bring robust research skills developed during my two-year research fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital's Center for Surgery and Public Health. Additionally, I will bring innovations through my passion for digital health and surgical education, having experience in creating the mobile app called HealUA. Moreover, I will bring a physician who cares for patients with compassion and kindness. Both in Ukraine and at Brigham, my mentors taught me that the basic principles of humanity and building trust with patients are essential aspects of patient care. By giving me the opportunity to continue my surgical education, which was disrupted by war, I will use this chance wisely and strive to become a leader in the field of surgery, making significant changes both nationally and globally.
