Ladies and gentlemen, dear colleagues, As the head of the pediatric neurology team, it is a great pleasure to welcome you to the autumn congress of the Belgian Society of Pediatric Neurology. This edition is special for us, as it is the first time we are hosting it at the William Lennox Neurological Hospital, where our teams focus on the rehabilitation and reintegration of children with congenital or acquired brain injuries, refractory epilepsy, and neurodevelopmental disorders. The theme of this congress, "Rehabilitation: From Traumatic Brain Injury to Reintegration into Society," reflects the work we do here at William Lennox. The journey from brain injury to successful reintegration is complex and requires not only medical and paramedical care but also social support, educational interventions, and psychological resilience. Today, we will explore the advancements in rehabilitation strategies, outcomes of brain injury, and the challenges faced by patients and their families.
