A meaningful mission statement contains two basic elements. The first is what you want to do, what you want to accomplish, what contributions you want to make. The second is what you want to be, what character strengths you want to have, what qualities you want to develop. Before we get started something I like to always begin with is our company’s mission statement. In all that we do in Planet fitness our mission needs to remain at the forefront of everything. Our mission gives us purpose, it tells us why we choose planet fitness today and every day going forward. Take a moment. Do you know we have a mission statement? If not, that’s okay let me be the first to tell you. Unite to provide a judgement free fitness experience with a passion to achieve results, create opportunity and transform the lives of those we serve. Today and throughout this course I hope to create an opportunity for you. My goal is to provide you with the tools and resources you need to reach the next level, whatever that may be.
