Step 6: Configure the distribution. Using S Q L Server Management Studio, connect to the publisher. Right click the replication folder. Select Configure Distribution to start the Distribution Configuration Wizard. Choose the publisher server to act as its own distributor (default option). If S Q L Server Agent is not running, configure it to start automatically (default option). In Snapshot folder, enter the network path for the shared folder. Finish the wizard using the default values. Please note that errors related to the S Q L Server Agent not starting or failing to change starting mode to automatic can be solved in S Q L Server Configuration Manager by changing the S Q L Server Agent starting mode to automatic and starting the S Q L Server Agent.
