Step 7: Set database permissions. On SQL Server Management Studio, create a new login for each Windows user previously created: repl_snapshot repl_logreader repl_distribution On the User mapping page, select the distribution and the publication databases. Select the Altitude uCI Server database as the distribution and publication databases. In the database role membership list, select the db_owner role for the login for both databases. Additionally, the repl_distribution user must have the role db_owner for the subscription database.
